💡 Two speeds, and each panel picks the right one for you. Text and schedule edits (this month's books, resources, schedule wording) go live with ⚡ Quick-apply in a few seconds — no rebuild. Cover, title or author changes need a full ⬆ Publish (about fifteen seconds), because the picture has to be rebuilt into the site. Either way you can make as many edits as you like first — they wait safely on the Factory — then apply once.

After changing a cover, run Refresh share cards in Advanced so new previews regenerate.

ℹ️ How it works
One idea to remember: this page is a remote control. The public site (on a server far away) can only show things — it can never be edited directly, and that's exactly what keeps it safe. When you edit here, the page quietly sends your change to the workshop (a machine at home called K8), and the button pushes the new version to the public site. So "edit on the page" and "edit on the workshop" are the same thing — you press the button, the workshop does the work.
The everyday loop: unlock (top) → make your edits → apply. Words and schedule appear in a few seconds with ⚡ Quick-apply (no rebuild); a new cover or title takes about fifteen seconds with ⬆ Publish, because the site is rebuilt around the new picture. Everything you changed goes live together; you don't apply after each edit.
Two shelves. The Library is the permanent shelf — every book, always readable and searchable. This month is the small, high-touch shelf: a few books with the extra layers — Read (PDF), Listen (AI audio), Bookup (word cards) and Leafthru (AI tutor). A monthly book is just a library book with those layers switched on.
When a month ends, its books stay in the Library and its words stay in the dictionary; the heavy live extras retire with the month.
Vocab is Eric's public curation. Entries live in the runtime collection and appear immediately; covers are versioned publication assets and go live with Publish.
