Our principal recommended 10 to 25 at Orientation, and later a few classmates in the community brought it up too. Someone then found David Yeager’s full talk. So this page keeps just the two: the book and the talk.
Start with the talk
The talk is about 70 minutes and gives you the core idea: from ten to twenty-five, young people are very sensitive to status and respect, so high standards only work when they come with real support. If it speaks to you, the book has the research and the stories behind it.
You don’t need to finish either one. Watch or read the part you’re curious about, try one idea, and leave the rest.

两样都不必看完。挑你好奇的部分看一点、读一点，试着用一个想法，剩下的就放下。
