How to Read Three Different Books
The Gist
April 连读 Meet Your Happy Chemicals、Quiet 和 The Gifts of Imperfection。三本书的难度、文风和论证方式差异很大，因此课程反复从 Introduction、目录和核心定义开始，先建立地图，再调整阅读速度。
第一本用四种 happy chemicals 观察奖励与习惯，第二本重新理解内向、文化与合作，第三本进入羞耻、完美主义和 wholehearted living。重点不是做三份书摘，而是比较三种读法，并把概念带回自己的经验检验。
- 先用 Introduction、目录与核心定义建立地图，再决定哪些章节值得慢读。
- 用自己的经历测试书中的模型，不把流行的脑科学说法当成简单真理。
- 书的难度与写法不同，阅读速度也应该改变；读慢不是失败。
- 性格不是单一标签：文化、环境、敏感度与个人选择都会改变表现。
- 把羞耻、完美主义与归属感带回行动，书摘只有在生活里被检验才有意义。
